Businessman, two workers killed in crash on NSE near Hulu Selangor

KUALA LUMPUR: The owner of a company selling luxury cars and his two workers were killed when their car collided with a trailer at KM421 of the North South Expressway near Hulu Selangor, early Wednesday.
Ooi Choon Hooi, 39, his driver Yong Eng Yew, 59, and worker Tan See Yin, 28, died at the scene.
Hulu Selangor police chief Supt Norel Azmi said during the 12.05am incident, the victims were heading to Ipoh when their car hit a trailer, went out of control and landed in a ditch.
"Initial investigations revealed that the trailer driven by K. Kunasilan, 31, went out of control and swerved across the road before being hit by the victim's car," he said when contacted.
Norel said the bodies of the victims were sent to the Kuala Kubu Baru Hospital for post-mortem while the driver of the trailer was detained for investigations. - Bernama
